Meaghan is a senior at the University of North at Charlotte where she is majoring in Nursing and Psychology with a minor in Science.  To better prepare herself for a career as a Nurse Practitioner she is employed at Presbyterian Hospital as a Nursing Assistant.  In her spare time Meaghan enjoys horseback riding more specifically she is a championship barrel racer.  She has competed six times in the National Barrel Horse World championships.  She also enjoys traveling, fashion and theatre.   Recently she added skydiving to her list of adventurous activities she likes to participate in.  Meaghan has earned many awards and has been a member of numerous societies.  Just to name a few she has been on the President’s List, Dean’s List and is a member of The National Scholars Honor Society, The Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars.  She was awarded All American Scholar Award and the American Character and Citizenship Award. All though Meaghan is relatively new to pageants she has already held several titles such as Majestic Miss Lincoln County, Miss Denver, Miss Lake Norman, Miss Mecklenburg County and most recently Miss Charlotte USA. Meaghan resides in Charlotte with her beloved Chihuahua Dolce.
