LINDSEY BAKER | Miss Charlotte Teen USA 2012

1st Runner Up Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2012



     Lindsey Baker, a David W. Butler High School graduate and college freshman, was crowned Miss Charlotte Teen USA last July at the historic McGlohon Theater in Uptown Charlotte. As Miss Charlotte Teen USA, Lindsey advances to the state level competition to compete for the title of Miss North Carolina Teen USA on November 11-12, 2011 at the High Point Theatre and Exhibition Center, produced by RPM Productions.  Along with Lindsey, teenage girls between the ages of 14-19 from across the state will take to the stage in their rhinestone encrusted evening gowns and will compete, high heel to high heel, for the crown and title of Miss North Carolina Teen USA.  Lindsey will represent the city of Charlotte at the state level competition in hopes of winning college sponsored scholarships and the state crown which includes the opportunity to represent North Carolina at the national level Miss Teen USA pageant presented by the Miss Universe Organization.

     A freshman at Central Piedmont Community College, this 18-year-old is majoring in Communications.  Lindsey was Miss North Carolina Teen World 2010, Miss NC Teen USA 2nd runner up 2009 and 2010, and Photogenic Award winner and Jayme Shaw Swimsuit winner. She is a runway model at the Southern Women’s Show in Jonathan Kayne Fashions.  Lindsey is the lead print model for Infiniti Car magazine and brochure. On Charlotte Today television, she showed prom fashions with Reign Fine Apparel. Lindsey is the cover model winner on the 2011 SAVY Supermodel Calendar.  Being a beauty queen is not all rhinestones and glamour.  Lindsey says the Miss Charlotte crown gives her a voice that impacts her community and brings awareness to causes and charities’ that are important to her.  Lindsey spends substantial time bringing awareness to Take a Slice out of Cancer and the Susan G Komen Foundation.  Lindsey was also invited to VIP day at the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Summer Camp and she taught self-esteem and confidence in inner beauty through a partnership with the Charlotte Dove Movement.
